Defining the Granby System
Visualize Coach Lowrance at a TV studying the tape of the NCAA finals, playing it back and forth and in slow motion until he knows every movement of the hold he’s watching. Next you see him on the wrestling mat teaching the hold he learned. He creates the correct drills, impact words and details to make the new hold work. “Make strong head contact as you pull the knee. Drive and step up the outside foot. Look and pressure toward the back of the neck and cut to the double.” He trains the wrestler and the team to master the new hold. Next you see his wrestlers in matches using the new technique to win.
